As a previous Headteacher of a school within The Alliance Multi Academy Trust (TAMAT) I got first-hand experience of the difference and value being part of a TAMAT brings to children and staff, which I feel is essential to my role as CEO.
I see it as a privilege to work alongside school leaders to help them to be the best they can be, working towards achieving our vision, ensuring TAMAT adds value and makes a difference. Each school’s uniqueness, talents, resources, ideas, expertise, staff and leadership teams make us stronger together as TAMAT – which was particularly evident during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Alliance Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2018 and is currently made up of seven schools: two infant schools, two junior schools and three primary schools. TAMAT came together to provide the best education for our children through the best staff and systems. We have a clear focus on leadership, teaching, governance, professional development and collaboration at every level of the Trust.
TAMAT has a centralised business team who are key to providing timely expertise and efficient service across our schools. This allows our schools the important task of managing and focusing on their curriculum but also provides expertise in finance, HR and compliance when schools need it.
TAMAT has an experienced, committed Trust Board with a wide range of skills who provide robust challenge to the Executive Team as set out in the Scheme of Delegation. In addition, each Academy has its own Local Academy Board who meet regularly to provide support and challenge at a local level. TAMAT has clear reporting structures that keep everyone within the Trust informed.
The focus of TAMAT is to serve our schools and ensure we provide the best education possible for our children.
If you would like more information on The Alliance Multi Academy Trust, please contact us via email shown on the Contact Us page of our website or speak to one of our Headteachers in TAMAT to hear their experiences first-hand.
We look forward to welcoming you, whether formally into the MAT or through informal arrangements, working together to benefit the children and staff in all our schools.
